1. Ann

I believe this may be a polarizing choice, but I adore this shot. Ann’s photo is a fashion shot first, and a wrestling shot second. No one could have rocked this outfit but her, and she did it well. Her odd body language only accentuates her great height and I like that her face looks different. During the past 3 weeks Ann has had softer faces, but here she’s staring down the camera. She is in full control here and I also want those damn shoes. Great job, Ann!

2. Chelsey

Chelsey is back with a vengeance! Her eyes are piercing straight through me and I love how she’s snarling slightly without taking things too far. Her pose is simple but still conveys dominance, and her connection with the wrestler is awesome. Tyra’s critique about Chelsey’s pointed finger and how she should’ve executed it was spot on, but it’s only a minor problem in a fantastic picture. Welcome back, Chelsey!

1. Ann

I don’t even know how to explain my love for Ann’s picture. I think it’s insanely bizarre and editorial and fashionable. Even though she’s not actually wresting anyone she’s still getting the brief across by holding the mask and giving us an absolutely murderous expression. I adore her broken down body language and she’s working every part of her outfit. I fully understand why this photo is super polarizing across the ANTM fandom, but I have nothing but praise for Ann this week.

2. Chelsey

From the bottom to the top! Chelsey came to slay this week. She is in full command of this shot. Her interaction is fantastic and her face is fierce. I like that she managed to sell the outfit as well. I’m not crazy about the point because it seems a little out of place, but it’s the only minor detail that I don’t like. Overall, this is Chelsey’s best shot thus far and she killed it!

3. Kayla 

Kayla manages to continue excelling. I love the strength in her shot. The face is fully committed and her outfit is totally on display. I love how she, more than anyone, wasn’t afraid to go there with the fighting aspect of the shoot. If she had given a little more neck, she’d have cracked my top 2. A great shot nonetheless.

4. Liz

Well, there’s nowhere to go but up from where Liz was last week. This is one of her best shots. I like the strength is her pose and how she engaged with the wrestler. The body shows the outfit and her face is super engaged. I don’t think it’s the prettiest or most fashionable of photos, but it certainly did the job this week. I just wish Liz had controlled her face and given more neck, but she gave more than Chris did in the face, so I bumped her up a spot from where I originally had her.

5. Chris

This shot was heavily overrated by panel. However, it’s still one of the better shots of the week. Chris did make a dynamic jump that doesn’t look awkward. The pose is great for this shoot, and I still appreciate the look. I just don’t think her face has enough strength. She reads kind of sleepy eyed. Also, jump shots have certain risks, like losing a neck, and Chris did just that. Nonetheless, it’s a strong shot, just not my choice for SCO.

6. Esther

I like what Esther did. It’s a lot like Kacey’s, though. Not that they look the same, but rather that they gave good body and interacted with their wrestler. Esther’s pose is more interesting, but that facial expression reads very uncertain. I actually thought it was genius that Tyra pointed out how the mask doesn’t hide the wrestler’s expression, and Esther looks almost blank. It’s good enough for this week.
