1 – Molly

Even if I think Hannah had the best individual shot, Molly’s two photos both come closest to dethroning it. Think it was the correct first call-out this week. Both of these photos are beautiful, and she was the only one to produce two brilliant photos. The solo shot is probably the slight weaker, but I still think there is such a casual beauty to it. The expression is soft, and I adore the way the dress is billowing in the wind. It feels like a beautiful contrast to the passionate paired photo. Molly connected with the male model the best, the intense glare in her eyes is magnificent, as is the dramatic pose. I’m a sucker for a pointed leg, silhouetted against a sheer fabric. No doubt these would look right at home in a spread, on opposite pages.

1. Molly

Molly is the only girl who killed both of her photos. The shot with the male model is fantastic, it looks like they’re in the middle of some weird honeymoon dance. The almost melancholy look on her face makes it look like she’s wishing to be with someone else; it really tells a story. The pointed toe through the sheer fabric is perfection and the overall sweeping nature of the pose is doing wonders for that dress. The second photo of Molly is probably my personal favorite of hers. It’s simple, powerful, and elegant. She did the best job out of anyone when it comes to selling the dress. I adore the subtle zigzag of her body and how she’s gently brushing her hair back. Her face is so regal and and her bone structure is insanely beautiful. It’s a completely flawless photograph that punched her ticket straight into the finale.

2 – Hannah

Both of these shots are beautiful, what a way for Hannah to go  out. I understand why she went, but I just can’t say I would have ever have eliminated her. Hannah has by far the strongest overall portfolio, outside of last week she has never looked bad in a photograph, and these are no exception. I think the paired shot is slightly awkward, the expression reads as more physically pained than emotionally, but Hannah still looks gorgeous. The pointed foot is such a nice detail. Her solo shot is what is really making me fall in love, it is by far my favourite photo from this week. The exaggerated pose, the angle of her face, the way she is showing the clothes…just complete perfection. It is dramatic, and perfect for a high fashion magazine. One of the shots of the cycle.

3 – Brittani

Brittani had a really strong set of weeks recently, but I am just not a fan of neither of these photos. Quality wise, these were significantly behind the others. The standing shot feels contrived and incredibly posed, while the emotions in the close photo just read fake and a bit cheesy. I think Brittani looks stunning in both, especially her face in the close one, but it is by far the least convincing emotions. If I had to eliminate someone, despite her strong walk and professionalism, I think I’d go with Brittani this week. In reality though, I think all 3 deserved to go to the finale, they were such a strong trio. All deserved a shot to shoot the Covergirl ad, I hated that they went down to 2 in the 13-16 stretch, just seemed like an arbitrary choice.

2. Hannah

Hannah’s performance was split for me since I don’t like her paired shot at all while her solo shot is one of my favorites in her portfolio. The picture with the male model is just wayyyyy too awkward mainly because of her face. She looks too tense and super uncomfortable, like she can’t wait to be done with the shoot. The guy is completely outperforming her. However, Hannah’s solo shot is stellar. The clothes look amazing on her and the simple yet dramatic pose works brilliantly. Normally having her head tilted so far back would annoy me but she hasn’t lost her beauty at all. Her neck extension is awesome and her jawline is crazy, plus the wistful faraway look in her eyes is so gorgeous. Based on the week Hannah deserved to move on but I don’t think her elimination was unfair. The three girls were all pretty evenly matched overall so the week’s results could’ve really gone in any direction.

3. Brittani

While I don’t think I would’ve eliminated Brittani here since I think her body of work earned her a place in the finale she definitely stumbled in this photoshoot. The first photo is one of her weakest shots in the competition. Her pose is so stiff and contrived, and I don’t feel any chemistry between her and the male model. In fact my eyes go to the guy first and he’s not even doing much. Brittani’s close-up is a lot stronger. I believe the emotion more, probably because this was after she started crying on set. Her face is absolutely stunning and I think she’s selling the outfit better here even though we can’t see all of it. I do wish she had relaxed just a touch and caught the light better. Even though I think Brittani deserved to make the Top 2, an elimination here wouldn’t have surprised me since she had the weakest photoset and she was up against two other ridiculously strong girls.

#1 – Hannah

Hannah for me should have been a shoe-in for the finale, she was by far the most consistent of the three, and in my opinion had the strongest performance here. I guess Hannah just has to join her lookalike in the robbed club, third is always better to be honest. There photos are both among my favourites of the cycle, her solo shot just has such a melodramatic pose. Unlike with Brittani though it works, the clothes are being sold, and Hannah’s face is just exquisite. Her jawline is so fantastic here. I love the dreamy vibe too, with the flowing fabrics and her gorgeous long hair. The pair shot is my least favourite though this time, as I feel her face is a tad too drama, so the closeup isn’t as strong. But as a long shot it is fantastic, I love her pose, the pointed toe and the way she is reaching the pole. Again it just tells me a story of love and loss, Hannah sold the clothes and the fantasy too.

#3 – Brittani

Just when I was beginning to grow fond of Brittani, she produces this. These photos just read amateur acting to me, I don’t believe either of the photos. The closeup is just melodramatic, but in a forced way. And her features just lack any shape, they seem too round. In the long shot I just fail to notice her, she doesn’t stand out. The pose feels so forced and static. These really are some of my least favourite photos of her, and such a disappointment after the likes of her landfill shot.
