1. Melrose

While Amanda and CariDee had my overall favorite photo, Melrose had the best individual performance by far. The only flaw I see is how her leg is cut off awkwardly by how the shot is framed and it looks a little cumbersome. I adore the angles she’s creating with her torso and arms, plus she’s creating a connection with Eugena. She also was the best at floating and it shows here. She set herself apart from the other girls by gazing off into the distance instead of at the camera. Her ethereal expression is so stunning, and  love her neck extension and how her hair is flowing in the water as well. Melrose definitely deserved the FCO this week.

2. CariDee

CariDee’s shot is only slightly ahead of Amanda’s. I wouldn’t have known she was about to go into hypothermia based on this photo. Her face is so serene and she’s connecting well. I love the elegant way her arms are positioned as well. I wish the shot was framed in a way where we could see more of her body, but from what I can see she looks relaxed. I don’t think CariDee deserved bottom 2 for this.

3. Amanda

I’m not blown away by this shot of Amanda, but it’s still pretty strong. I love her body position and her delicate hand. The contrast between her hair, the dress, and her skin is just gorgeous. I think her expression could be a bit better, but she’s still connecting well and hiding that she’s cold. I wasn’t that upset with Amanda being cut this week. I don’t think her look suited the prizes as well as the other girls. She started strong but went downhill in the middle of the competition. While her final two shots were good, she was still being outperformed by other girls. I may have cut Eugena before her, but I think Amanda would’ve been the next elimination anyway.

4. Eugena

Eugena’s shot is the only one I don’t care for this week. Her face looks pretty and gentle, but her eyes aren’t connecting as fully as I’d like. The fact that she’s not floating drags the photo down as well, and her hands look super awkward. I can tell that she was freezing in the water and I don’t feel like she has any connection with Melrose.

#1 - Amanda

This is possibly the most annoying elimination ever, as there are just so many factors which frustrate me. Firstly you have the issues with CariDee, meaning that Amanda didn’t even get her full time, and secondly it is so obvious the fact she was eliminated was just because they had no storyline with her without Michelle. Finally, you have the fact that this photo isabsolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Everything is perfect from her gorgeous face, her hair and the placement of her hand. The dress looks gorgeous, and Amanda really did kill this photo and definitely did not deserve to be eliminated this week.

#2 - Melrose

She is definitely the better half of this photo. There is such an eerie gorgeous quality to this photo, I love the way she is staring off into the distance, there is such beauty in her eyes here. Her body is also beautifully elegant. She makes the dress look great, and looks great while doing it. The only reason it falls to second is because I think it is a bit over dramatic.

#3 - CariDee

I feel bad for CariDee given the circumstances, but honestly this is still a stellar shot. I think those two work so well together in the shot, with the light and dark, and CariDee’s expression is so beautiful. There may be something slightly lacking for me, I think her body seems a bit tense, but I am willing to forgive that as this is a stunning shot in the end.

#4 - Eugena

Eugena really did overstay her welcome in this competition, as this is the only bad photo this week. I think her face just looks a bit blank, and while it seems pretty, I am not 100% sure about the eye contact with the camera. Kind of makes her eyes seem fake, like painted on. Then you have her body, which is just oddly angled. It isn’t flattering for the dress, and in the end that is what she is meant to be selling.
