Continued from here When his magic didn't quite work he was about to attempt again when a hiss came, and a book hit him in the head. He rubbed his head looking around. He didn't quite know what to make of that, though he was not blind to the idea of sentient magic items. Yet for one to be an entire space like this was unheard of to him. If that is indeed what was going on here than he had to tread lightly from here on.
"Apologies for my...disrepectful approach. I could sense your power, but did not comprehend your true nature." He would give a respectful bow to a shelf in hopes this would appease the magical place.
"If you have a master, or some equivalent, than I ask that you allow me to meet them and give a proper greeting. If no such person exists than I ask that you consider me as a potential candidate."
Ardernos was use to putting on an act to sway others, though he never could tell if his ploy would ever work or not. It was always a gamble on his part.
