Yes, we took my hosts' unused refrigerator shelf and turned it into a rack for Fiji's trailer. Since I switched to a smaller trailer, I don't have much storage space on the inside. Fiji and the violin occupy the inside of the Cycletote Dog Trailer. We thought about it, and my hosts' neighbor spotted the shelf leaning up against the wall, so the rest is history. Here is what we did: 1. We took zip ties and connected the shelf to the straps on the canopy of the trailer. That secured it to the top. 2. We then took bungees and proceed to tie down Fiji's sleeping system and mine, plus our tent.
