Does tumblr even know that half of Australia has been under water for the past week?

There was a cyclone called Debbie that has flooded half of the state of Queensland. It's been crazy. I saw four guys in a blow up boat just chillin in the middle of their street.

My hometown just got hit by a cyclone and the first thing they do is protect the sign at Hungry Jack's...beautiful

For all those wondering, we’re safe! We are in the affected area, and are currently flooded in but we were proactive and got plenty of groceries before it truly hit. Also we have a generator. A small one.

The dogs were bored out of their little border collie minds at being trapped inside and right now they are very frightened by the extreme wind and rain and very loud noises, but we’re doing our best to keep them calm. The wind is supposed to start dying off soon, so we should all at least get a good nights sleep, although I predict I’ll have a few extra clingy cuddle partners tonight. No complaints there!
