To have it handed to you as easily as breathing. Annoyance nearly radiated off of him as gun was pointed just inches away from the older man’s face.         ❝ You the group that's lead by the weird old bald guy? ❞

Laughing, covered arms cross over her chest “oh? You want to hear what I have to say?” Gemma stepped towards the other “I find you weird… I mean who shoots lasers out of their eyes? It's like everyone now has a ‘power’. It's like that's the only way you can fight now is if you have powers, not skill. It is pathetic."

“LIFE  OF  THE  DAMN  PARTY  AREN’T  YOU,  BUD?“  eyebrows raised,  amused,  or  perhaps  concerned.  maybe  a  bit  of  both, but  cigar  cover  his  mouth  to  stop  him  from  speaking  again and  he  swings  a  glass  of  scotch  directed  at  the  other mutant.  “looks  like  you  need  it  more  than  me,  shades.  want to  talk  about  it?“  even  if  logan  isn’t  himself  the  best  at this  (  comforting,  speaking,  he  is  a  good  listening,  mostly  by  not  being  much  of  a  talker  ).  “you  makin’  me  the  merriest  of  people  in  this  room.“

being  a  telepath  meant  that  jean  can  feel  the  emotions  and  actual  intentions  in  which  people  feel  /  or  wish  to  act  upon.    there  is  no  silence,   she  can  sense  a  lie  with  minimal  effort.   with  that  being  said,  this  often  helped  jean  decide  how  to  handle  a  situation.   acting  on  emotions                   if  doing  her  heroine  job  was  really  worth  the  effort  or  not  by  reading  minds.  most  of  those  minds  were  filled  with  hatred  towards  mutants  /  her  kind.   this  often  lead  to  a  lot  of  arguments  for  her  justification  in  being  a  hero  versus  walking  away.

good   morning   friends   ! !   i   know   ,   monday   is   usually   the   worst   day   of   the   week   .   a   lot   of   people   start   to   work   again   ,   the   weekend   is   over   ,   we   are   all   tired   .   with   heading   right   into   our   fourth   lockdown   ,   i   decided   to   use   these   trying   times   to   pick   up   an   old   habit   of   mine   and   make   a   positivity   post   for   a   mutual   as   often   as   i   can   .   well   .   i   figured   to   start   with   one   of   the   beans   ive   known   the   longest   on   this   website   and   talk   a   little   about   poppy   over   at   @ikaristm   /   @cyclopstm   .   i   cant   remember   a   time   without   them   at   this   point   ,   because   weve   been   following   each   other   for   so   long   now   ,   that   there   was   still   an   active   x   men   fandom   when   we   started   to   write      (      imagine   tho      )      .   poppy   became   a   close   confidant   of   mine   ,   someone   i   really   trust   and   talk   with   very   open   .   no   matter   if   its   sharing   tons   of   photos   about   plants   ,   funko   pops   and   other   things   of   our   daily   life   ,   kindly   stalking   each   others   facebook   posts   or   crying   over   our   favorite   fictional   characters   ,   they   are   simply   an   amazing   and   funny   person   .   their   writing   is   just   as   fantastic   ,   because   you   can   easily   see   how   much   they   care   about   their      (      eyebeam      )    muses   and   that   they   pour   their   entire   heart   and   soul   into   those   portrayals   .   im   am   beyond   glad   to   call   them   not   only   a   mutual   ,   but   also   a   friend   ,   because   even   if   things   werent   always   easy   in   our   lives   ,   we   always   stuck   together   in   the   end   .   poppy   ,   when   you   read   this   :   thank   you   for   being   my   friend   .   thank   you   for   keeping   up   with   my   potato   ass   and   tolerating   my   endless   messages   ,   tiktok   videos   and   being   the  person   you   are   .   never   change   ! !
