A warm up image to get me back into the swing of things and drawing these two! Promise I’m not dead, just a lot of friend and family gatherings happened last week and the week before!

My friends and I have been watching Kamen Rider very intensely this month, and I thought Scara and Dems fit the aesthetics of the Riders in Kamen Rider W. I probably won’t do much more dabbling in this, but if this were an AU I’d work on, here’s the premise:

Scara is a novice detective who assisted X-9, and they were hired by a client to find and rescue a demon from a testing facility who was being used to create weapons with his immense knowledge granted to him by all the souls he’d absorbed over the years. The mission went horribly wrong and X-9 was killed on the mission, sacrificing himself to give Scara and Dems the chance to escape. In his honor they carry on the detective business, trying to be worthy successors.

Scara does the leg work, interrogating, investigating, ect. while utilizing Dems’ mental library of information to help him piece together the cases over the radio.
