6. how did writing change you?It made me more aware of my own abilities! I always felt like I was just along for the ride when it came to movies, books, poetry, TV shows. Like I watched them but of course couldn’t participate in them. I was just a bystander. But writing has made me create stuff, and that’s always nice. To contribute.

13. hardest character to writeLiam. I can never find his voice. I can’t get into his head and I don’t know why!

14. easiest character to writeNiall. Niall is sooo easy for me because he’s so sure of himself in real life. I can imagine him as a goofball, but also a steadfast anchor. He can be quiet, resourceful, a good friend. So it’s always easy for me to present him as a good side character, someone who is always there and present.

25. favorite line you’ve ever writtenHere’s another one I really like. It’s from CYLW when Zayn wins his award and gives a big speech in front of a whole room:“And last but certainly not least, I want to thank my Harry,” Zayn says as he stares him down. “You are the love of my life, my soul mate, and no matter how much I brag about this award later, or point it out to every person who comes into our house and sees it on the mantle,” as everyone chuckles in the audience again, “you are without a doubt the best thing I ever won.”

DVD: It isn't until Harry hears Zayn's name being screamed into the air around him that he realizes he's the one screaming, and that no one has rushed to help yet. And even though he's yelling at the top of his lungs, and other people start yelling, and everyone scrambles around them, Harry only hears the cracking sound on a loop in his head, over and over and over. (I hope a 2nd one is allowed . I heart your writing ☺️☺️)

Ahhhh my first fic! You’re very nice for reminding me.

I don’t know, but for some reason smells and sounds really get to me. So in this moment, I wanted it to be super clear that the sound of Zayn’s head hitting concrete would really affect Harry. Like it would be a punch to the gut to not only see it happening, but also hear it. I wanted it to be a true FREAK OUT moment too, like an entire bar scrambling because of a fight. I wanted it to be chaotic.
