This city made no sense to Priscilla. She wished she had a guide of some kind. really, anything to help her get through. There were so many new rules. there were certain times you couldn’t cross the street and certain time when the park was off limits. There were no signs to tell her what to do. She had to figure it out on her own.
If there was one thing Priscilla was terrible at, it was thinking for herself.
In the end, she just ended up following crowds when they went to cross the street. She’d gotten good at that. Nobody here knew she didn’t know how traffic lights worked. However, the problem was that some time she needed to cross before the lights allowed. Right now she needed to cross.
There was another Warrior here. Priscilla shuffled and sighed, but the light would not go any faster. It was too loud to call out to her. There was only one thing Priscilla could do. She had to cross the street without looking both ways. This went surprisingly well for her. She only got honked at once, which she considered a success, but she’d made it across.
“Ah! Please don’t go yet! Please wait!” The half-Yoma ran up to the other Warrior. “I-I didn’t realize there were any other Warriors in the city.”
