I'm back with a monthly spread for february. I finally used this pretty card with an illustration of a wren on it that i've had for ages. (they used to hop around in our garden but now we only see house sparrows)
I'm going on holiday and i'm planning to write everyday when i'm there, hopefully i can keep it up!
I am literally counting down the days where I can actually start on using my new bujo. I love how it turned out - although it’s almost the same spread as my old bujo, but I think this time, I’m determined to use the same spread and organisation throughout the whole year for this.
Anyways the inspirational look is from archerandolive

☀️ HELLO KATY!! CONGRATS ON 2K, too - you deserve it! ^^ // Please make a playlist for me :) I love indie and alternative music! Please make a playlist for chill ? I love my days to be rainy. That would be very nice! Thank you!
ahhh thank you so much :’DDDD and thank you for requesting!!!
first finals on a tuesday and its sales and customer management. the least favourite module of mine in these semester.
especially, when your lecturer does not teach much - i can safely say, i’ve no idea what i’ve learnt except the basics.
I have a one week break from school and if i don’t bake a carrot cake this week, i’ll be damned!
I have been enjoying the lovely weather and this spread was lightly inspired by the orange pink sky from the autumn evenings.

What is Ecotourism - if you already know about it, you may ignore this part
Ecotourism is a type of niche tourism in the tourism industry. it is also a development in making the destination better and maintaining it. It focuses primarily on travelling responsibility to preserve and conserve. Their primary focus is on the local community and the natural environment. The natural environment is not just based on ground but also the marine area.
The 3 impacts which may effect the ecotourism:
A. Socio - Cultural / Social Impacts:
[ Are impacts which may take changes of the local community lifestyle ]
a. Negative:
- Commodification - when something of value to a religion or culture is being practiced repeatedly for the sake of the paying tourist, it will lose it’s value of belief to the locals
- Standardisation - locals fix and standardise their living lifestyle and culture to satisfy tourist’s desire for familiarity [And here I’ll ask you - what’s the point of travelling to an unknown destination?]
- Irritation due to tourist’s behaviour - tourists who travel with no respect towards host country or destination, which is similar to invading to their life
- Increase in Crime rates - Crime often takes place when there is a large group or if there is a popular destination with tourists
- Negative Stereotypes - International tourists and local residents have different perception towards each other’s cultural background and it may develop negative stereotypes of tourism from their direct encounters
b. Positive:
- Tourism as a force of peace - travelling has an education element in it, which makes tourist the ability to learn and have an understanding between people with different cultures - such like cultural exchange between locals and tourists
- Strengthening communities - the ecotourism development encourages local people and communities to take part and participate in tourism events or festivals
- Facilities developed for tourism can benefit locals or residents - tourism supports local and facilities which were not developed and tourism can bring it to a higher living standards to a destination
- Encourages civic involvement and pride - somewhat similar to the other fact but this encourages locals to get involved in developing their home-country or destination - improving tourism facilities, tourism services and more
