lots of it is under the cut for length, orisa is not presently included, special thanks to @cyrioci, @slitherbite, @menzurabu, @wrenchuskisses for enabling the SHIT out of me. <3
Hanzo n Genji: weird ability to manifest their energy around solid objects in the form of dragons. Genji uses it with a sword, Hanzo with arrows. They're both physically incapable of bringing out the dragons for long, even though their tattoos fine tune their mutation. Genetic.
McCree: mutation presents in the ability to make projectiles seek heat. He's modified a gun to work with his mutation, and he doesn't miss. He'll end up going blind in at least one eye with continued use of it.
Angela: Wings, but ones she can't really use to fly in the literal sense. She can really only glide. Her secondary mutation manifests in the ability to rapidly heal others at great cost to herself. Even concentrated through a staff she will feel the pain of the person she's healing and can't heal for long. There is a darker side to her healing, however. Too much of it concentrated on a single person will result in painful, unintentional immortality for them.
Fareeha: Flight! With her abilities Fareeha can actually fly ;v; Doing so for too long will exhaust her tho. Ana found out about her mutation when Fareeha was 10 and she came to get her ready for school and found her on the ceiling.
Ana: Poison and healing. Left hand poisons and the right hand heals but both require proxies; Ana can't just put her hand on someone to heal them. She has to touch something and then touch someone else with that something in order for it to work, though she does wear gloves 90% of the time.
Reinhardt: Force fields. Think violet from the incredibles, but also really big and really strong. The area in which he can protect is relatively limited and he can only maintain the barrier for so long before it, and sometimes him too, give out.
Torbjorn: An angry rage-y little lava monster who can supercharge machines by touching them, but for a very limited amount of time. If he overuses it it WILL kill him. Like. pile of ashes kinda kill.
Bastion: A very large, very quiet kid who can talk to animals and manipulate plants. He's selectively mute due to trauma and generally minds his own business. He likes his ganymede more than 99% of the human race.
Zenyatta: Can manipulate metal with his mind but only specific kinds. Usually only pure metals. He's lined his wheelchair with pure copper and will push himself around and keeps a few balls of metal around to use as projectiles. (note: his control is no where as fine tuned as Magneto. Like not even in the same league. Zenyatta is selling muffins outside the stadium compared to magneto)
Tracer: minor time manipulation that came on young and fast. Her time travel is usually just limited to minutes at a time but she has, at least once, disappeared for over a week. She wears a heart monitor to as her heart rate is tied to her dissociating, and has a service dog, Chronos, that helps keep her grounded.
Widowmaker: Her artificially induced mutation made her skin poisonous and resulted in the death of her husband. Physical contact with her skin requires immediate medical attention if there is even a chance of being saved.
Lucio: He has the ability to heal people with sound waves and music, like a reverse banshee. He discovered this ability when he was 11, after the loss of his legs, when he cured another child's illness by playing the keyboard for her.
D.va: Her mutation is in her eyes and the way she perceives time. For her it seems to move like molasses and as a result her reflexes are enhanced. Video games gave her the challenge she so desperately needed and then later fighting. Broadcasting her matches put her in the limelight, which she proceeded to soak up like a sponge.
Roadhog: Massively enhanced strength that comes with a mutated form of cystic fibrosis. Can absorb massive amounts of radiation.
Junkrat: Flame and blast retardant skin that unfortunately manifested AFTER the loss of his right arm and leg. Can also absorb massive amounts of radiation.
Zarya: Similar to Reinhardt she too has massive amount of strength and stamina and can make barriers. She however can place them on people for a limited amount of time, providing total protection. She's got a limited amount of times she can do this, however.
Mei: Ice manipulation and minor healing capabilities that manifested at age 12.
Winston: Very much like Beast, Winston is human but you couldn't tell that from looking at him. His mutation comes with enhanced strength and it's unclear weather or not his intelligence is a result of that as well or just natural
Sombra: Has the ability to latch onto anything with electricity, get into it, and even travel through it. Like Tracer her mutation developed young and she used it for a gang in Mexico that kept her off the streets as long as she was of use.
Gabriel: An extremely gifted mutant already, one with the ability to collapse entirely into smoke and travel around as such, Gabriel was taken in by the government at the age of 17 along with a handful of other mutants in an effort to create the first mutant branch of the US Army. His skills were fine tuned and weaponized and during this time he met another young mutant named Jack. Later, he would have a near death experience where Angela would try to save him and it would backfire horribly.
Jack: His mutation originally manifested in the ability to turn himself into a beacon of light that could heal himself and others, but when under the training and experimentation of the mutant soldier program he developed a second ability that allows him to lock onto a target and aim without missing.
