           Nostagia huh? Well, he had his fair share of nostalgia. Many of his previous friends were long gone and now and now the only thing that they are remembered by is himself and a few ancient songs that weren’t always accurate. Oh, how he missed them so and eventually his time would come to pass but until then they will continue to live in his memory.

           ❝ It sounds like you’ve had a difficult past, Kaeya. ❞

           The tone in the other’s voice definitely sounded like it. Something he either despised and was still going through. Zhongli was always surprised at the young humans, they always came across problems and within years they would be able to solve it, but this aged old god continued to long for his long gone friends each day that passes. His recent encounter with Azhdaha upset him the most.

          ❝ I am sure in due time you will be able to set things right. People are remarkable and always strive to do their best. Whatever may bother you now, I hope it turns into a great life lesson and that you will be able to make amends. ❞

SOMEHOW, just SOMEHOW, his nap turn into something else. Diluc was laying on the couch. Eyes closed, even driftted off a little bit. he needed it after the work he did -- so falling into a slight sleep, the man never even noticed the other sneaking into the room and soon laying on top of him. Head on his chest. When Diluc went to move was when he noticed it. Blinking, the man open his for a moment, the glimpse of BLUE filled his sight and soon the other’s voice. 

“ .... are you... really laying on me right now? We been over this -- I don’t like this.”

|| The chief alchemist was known to have a small stature, but that did not mean that he couldn’t handle his drink.

Except, he could handle it so well, it seemed like he was just drinking water.

It was, of course, Albedo’s birthday, and it was a knightly tradition for every other knight to buy a drink for the birthday celebrant. At least, for every knight in attendance. This meant that Albedo had had quite a bit of alcohol.

Probably a good dozen or so drinks, and yet, he wasn’t even phased. The alchemist looked only a bit worn out by the amount of social activity that he’d been put through today, but other than that, seemed perfectly normal. Not even a hiccup from him.

And then it was Kaeya’s turn to buy him a drink.

The difference between every other patron and Sir Kaeya was that the cavalry captain had observed Albedo many times, and had taken notice to the fact that it wasn’t alcohol that could put him under. No, no, no.

All it had taken was some pure grenadine, and the alchemist definitely looked like he was having trouble keeping up with conversation. He blinked at his cup, staring off into space, it seemed like. Albedo would sway in his seat if he turned too fast, and took ages to respond to anything that anyone asked him. He’d known what would happen once it was Kaeya’s turn to treat him, but for tradition’s sake, he’d accepted it anyway.

And well, now he was paying the price. ||

They where sitting there. Sure enough the other was able to get him to drink. And sure enough the man was clinging to the other. Head was place onto the others shoulder and he cling to the other. the room alone felt as if it was spinning and he almost felt sick, but -- he was still in a rather good state. Leaning close to the other the man couldn’t help but exhale a soft sigh from his lips as he burred his head into the others should.

“ I ... hate you so much... I hate you..”

@cyroknight: Kaeya canted his head to the side as he saw the alchemist hiding his face. The blonde's eyes were red and puffy and the knight wondered if he really been crying. "I didn't know you could cry." he stated bluntly. "Are you ok? You want a drink?"

|| Albedo was not one to lose control of his emotions. He kept a very tight leash on them for a reason, usually. But these days, it felt harder and harder to be normal. Whatever normal was, that is. The alchemist was not like anyone he’d ever met. What even was his normal in the first place? Did he have to be?

His racing thoughts eventually overtook him, and before he knew it, tears had started streaming down his face.

It was such a frightening thing to happen. Without his control. Without his direct thought nor reason. Unbidden, a small noise tore its way out of his throat. Albedo hadn’t been able to place it lately, this... growing loneliness inside of him.

Unlike the kind of normal emptiness he dealt with, this one felt vicious. It wanted everything and more. It demanded things of him that Albedo refused to give in to.

It wasn’t the first time this had happened. Maybe he was just born to go mad. He could never truly settle anywhere without these dark thoughts invading his mind. It was the first time, however, that Albedo had allowed himself to grow attached to the people he had surrounded himself with. The people that gave his existence meaning.

And now... he might have to leave.

That would mean he’d be alone... again.

The thought had started to consume him when suddenly the door to his lab had opened, and Albedo quickly ducked his head to hide his current state. The cloying darkness inside of him begged for attention.

And Kaeya gave it to him.

He turned his head away from his fellow knight and shook his head gently, willing the volatile emotions inside of him to quell. “I- Sir Kaeya, you- hah-” His voice cracked pathetically. “You shouldn’t be seeing me like this.” ||

Huffman simply turns his head, blinking for a few moments before gently walking over to his captain. The other was clearly pouting and was very expressive about it, something that Huffman would have slipped passed...if not for the inclination to at least offer his help.

The knight leaned over, tilting his head to the side as he gently placed a hand on Kaeya’s shoulder, ❝ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐝𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧? ❞

It was a simple question, but when it came to the captain...it could mean anything.

"... Ah." That silver band slipped onto his ring finger, matching the one on Kaeya's. Oh, it was to be a momentous occasion-- The cavalry captain wed to the master of the Dawn Winery. "Why... Why me...?"
