F. what do you feel when you think of your OC?

he’s such....... he’s such ....... a huge baby. an emotionally immature sadistic freak. but we love him it’s a mess smh he’s terrible but we can’t make him Too Terrible bc we love him.......

idk it’s tough tho because like. he’s for real one of our most interesting characters and we are very proud of him. he’s exciting and can add in a lot of conflict just by his being there, just because the stuff he does so easily translates to conflict. the selfish antihero who doesn’t think he’s selfish.

33. could he be considered lazy?

yes and no, maybe. he works hard, sure, but he loooves when other people work hard For him instead. it’s beneath him to do a lot of manual labor, but he’s the one who can drive down to barter the bushels of fruit that his beloved members of the connection picked for him.

intellectually lazy, i think, in some ways, too, is a yes and no. as a philosophy major, he likes the readings, he doesn’t like the essays. he gets it, he loves thinking about it. as a biology person, he likes the hands-on science parts (even....... -wink-). he doesn’t like the write-ups after. he gets ousted out of his doctoral program for cheating on his master’s thesis, but he wanted to be in the doctoral program and that’s why he cheated on the master’s thesis.

but he’ll also hole himself up in his room for days and not SLEEP or do anything, might even let himself go through withdrawal for a few hours, if he’s dedicated working on a spell that mere mortals cannot simply conjure up with their tiny minds. that’s work! and he does it Gladly! he’s the only one on earth who can, after all.

34. how hard is it for him to shake a sense of guilt?

oh easy. he has never felt guilty in his life. :)

if something, somehow, where to go in such a way where... nooo, that’s unthinkable. it’s Un ThinkAble. he does not do things that would make him guilty. he takes full ownership of his actions and if there are negative consequences, it’s definitely not his fault because otherwise he would’ve made different choices.

35. how does he treat the things his friends come to him excited about? is he supportive?

almost always. :) he loves hearing about things other people are interested in. he loves two very info-dump-y autistic people and he likes to listen (as long as he can do something else, too, like maybe read or snuggle or......................). he loves seeing his lovers’ art works (especially when he’s in them). he’ll ask questions or give praise or critique.

the only time he Doesn’t like it is if someone talks about something really fun or cool or good and then they don’t want to share :( that’s just mean and cruel and unnecessary. if someone comes in excited Just to make astral mad, then of course he’s gonna be a little upset!

🌠 What’s a past special interest?

an all-consuming special interest i had a few years ago was twisty puzzles. i’d watch videos about them for hours and i still have a whole bunch. i never really learned how to solve more than the 3x3 tho :-) 

🐒 What’s your favorite line from your special interest if it’s a video game/movie/tv show/etc?

this little monkey emoji is perfect bc it’s the exact pose you’d make if you asked me this question out loud :-) 

i can’t think of any distinct lines in particular that grab me except “you cannot pass!” (book) vs “you shall not pass!” (movie) which i still keep thinking about

"’I want to hear more about Sam, dad. Why didn't they put in more of his talk, dad? That's what I like, it makes me laugh. And Frodo wouldn't have got far without Sam, would he, dad?’” is a dangerous line because when i was re-listening to two towers while driving, this line made me cry big fat ghibli tears which are not good for when you’re driving :P but... yeah.................... :-) 

galadriel also says some good stuff, as does saruman obviously, but i’ll have to get back to you in a few years when i’ve memorized more of the books ~
