He did his best, alright? The nicest clothes he's got. Maybe it's not real silk, but it sure feels nice... and he's not planning on keeping it all on. If there's any kind of afterparty, he's there. If he can slip out to some fancy balcony and get swept off his feet by some hot older rich person and go home with them, he's so there. Otherwise, he'll get as many free drinks as possible, cause a little chaos, slip out for a cigarette or two, and overstay his welcome.

COMPETITION: #CYRUSMUSE

We've launched an Instagram competition to celebrate Cyrus Mahboubian's upcoming solo exhibition at De Re Gallery. 

Take part for your chance to win a signed unique Polaroid by the artist: – Follow @cyrusartist and @deregallery on Instagram.

– Simply take a photo of yourself in a landscape and upload to Instagram with the caption: "My #CyrusMuse photo, celebrating @cyrusartist solo exhibition at @deregallery in LA." Entries close 12 noon (LA time) on Sunday 14 Sept 2014.

– Cyrus will select his favorite five entries and we will regram one  per day beginning Sunday 14 Sept. The photo we regram on Thursday 18 Sept will be the overall winner. The four runners up will receive an  exhibition catalogue signed by the artist. Please Note: Your Instagram account must be public for us to see your  entry. Also, Instagram blocks searches that include broken hashtags such as "photography" so we recommend using only the competition hashtag #CyrusMuse.

Previous entries are eligible for the prize provided the photo was  originally posted with the competition hashtag. If you added the hashtag to an old photo, the photo will need to be reposted to qualify.
