Making this a separate post for @cyrusstarchaser so the original post doesn't get to be a mile long--here is my crocheted deck box!
Like I mentioned in my other post, this is actually the second deck box I've made, but the first one wasn't really successful--the yarn I picked was too light and the construction not sturdy enough to provide sufficient support for a deck. This one was worked almost entirely in half-double crochet in a thick-ish worsted weight yarn (Lion Brand Mandala, using a 5mm/H hook), with a square of needlepoint canvas sewn into the bottom for additional stability. I think it could still use some refinements, especially in the design of the lid, but I'm generally really pleased with how it turned out. The sizing was based on an Ultra Pro polypropylene deck box, specifically this one, so it easily fits my fully-sleeved Yuma, Proud Protector deck and its attendant unsleeved tokens. It'd probably fit a few more cards, actually, if I wanted to keep a sideboard in there, since the description of the box I copied specified that it fits 100 cards double-sleeved but double-sleeving is for perverts.
