I thought it would be neat if Skylar-Chilli met someone who also had an... Interesting name! Thus he meets older Glup (now Maria). She's like a cool cousin that shares interests with you I'd think. She likes space, stars, etc., quite a lot and reads from time to time. I was thinking of making him meet her kid self, but I thought it would be nice to give him someone he might look up & relate to.

Really liked the idea of SC growing up to be a musician by @yayita-art and wanted to draw it!

I imagine his band is called "Red Nova Star" and that he goes by "Pepper" or "Red" as a stage name :)

Let me... Let me just ramble for a second...

So, tomorrow, the new part of my AU is coming out, and it's kinda long... SIX pages!!!! I was thinking of splitting it in two, but it doesn’t make sense to me to break the story like that. Also, I don’t want to make you wait another week for something that’s already done and ready???

I spent six hours finishing it, which made me stop and actually count the hours I’ve collectively spent on my AU comic. It’s flipping 58 hours???? Omg what... And that’s including parts that haven’t even been released yet! I’m kinda in shock at how much time I’ve poured into this little (well, not so little, apparently) hyperfixation I created for myself. I feel slightly insane now... Oh well.

But honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The fact that people are excited to see what happens next, that you engage with my work, send me fanart, discuss the story—it makes all those hours feel completely worth it. Thank you for being here, for following along, and for making this experience even more special. I can’t wait to share the next part with you all!

Hey! I’m doing well, thanks for asking! My nickname is pronounced like Syu-sya (kind of like ‘Sue-sya’ but with a soft ‘Sy’ sound). It comes from the Ukrainian word Сюся, which is part of кровосіся—a slangy way to say ‘vampire’ (literally ‘bloodsucker’). That’s why my sona is a vampire with a heart theme—because I’m full of love and whimsy! :>
