   I am now doing this the old-fashioned way, given that you would likely ignore it if I called you. Hell if I'll know whether you will just throw this letter away unopened.

   See, despite of our indifferences, we are still family. And whether you believe it or not, I do care about how you are doing, especially when you pull these disappearing acts on me. I guess I could have asked Scot or Ire and saved the trouble of writing all this nonsense. So I do worry for you, genuinely. I hope you are doing well.

“ You should see the other one, ” Mer mocked in a tone similar to Harri’s as she tried to cater to his face wound. A sharp exhale escaped her nose, as she tried so hard to hold that tongue of hers. If it was not apparent enough, the woman was very pacifist despite her (sometimes) chaotic nature. Watching fists fly was the last thing she ever wanted. Harri did confirm one thing for her and it is that pub fights were really a thing in this cursed island. 

“ Do you know how embarrassing it would be if you cracked your head open? ” She asked as she shifted through the cheap convenience-store bought first aid kit. “ I would have to explain to the paramedics that there was no brain to be found inside that big fat head of yours. ” From there she slapped a minion-theme Band-Aid on his cheek for the meantime.

            “  you are so bloody stupid it's almost inconceivable,  ” yet here arthur is, handing over an ice pack to his brother, accompanied by an annoyed scoff. of course, his comfortable evening would be interrupted with something this silly.

           his arms cross, almost scolding look casted towards harri. oh, arthur just barely holds those initial words back. not that he wants to argue, even if that's the usual direction the conversation takes. “  dare i ask who did that?  ”

Harri, Look, keep your weekend schedule open for the next few weeks. I'm trying to coordinate dinner for the lot of us. It's turning into a royal pain in my arse but I don't think we've all been together under one roof in far too long. It's needed, truly and honestly. In other news, what size sweater do you wear? You're a wee thing yourself, but I have an excess amount of wool yarn and I've been making socks. I figure sweaters would use it up much quicker. If you want one, let me know what color. i. their first meeting was a little out there, since Mer was able to roam free for awhile, she decided to take a tour around europe to get a feel from it. one time when she was in italy learning how to paint, she overhead welsh artists talking about their homelands and how wonderful it was. so she asked her ruling leaders if she can visit wales for educational purposes, they allowed her to do so. she wrote a letter to harri to come over because of blah blah blah. then she saw harri on the shore and asked to go back home.

ii. mer has this assumption that harri does hard physical labor with his hands so every time she visits she leaves him work gloves with a soft-lining inside (and hand lotion lmao) or something similar to it. she knows he probably can get something of better quality, but she just does it because...she doesn't know why she does. it became a habit at this point, but she hides it in random spots because she doesn't want to feel too exposed. last time she hid her gift inside a microwave.

iii. i'm 100% sure that harri despises mer having to drive. she does not drive at the speed limit and drives as if she was a racer. however, when he does visit monaco he gets a taste of her lifestyle because she will always pick him up in the most expensive car she could get her hands on but then takes him to mcdonald instead of a michelin restaurant.

iv. because of harri's sunshine nature, mer has an odd trusting in him so during a christmas party (while drunk) mer probably asked harri to give her a nipple piercing because she heard someone else had one and she wanted one on the spot, it did not execute as mer planned, but they joke about it often
