#baccano #elmer #czes #czeslaw meyer #albatross c. elmer #i am still not over that fucking scene #it had a set-up where you'd expect like something cliché'd from a scene #emotional talk about immortality and change and so on blah blah #and then Czes said something like 'hey jump off the roof' (but in a serious context)#so I didn't expect elmer to give in and just IMMEDIATELY DO IT #SO HE SPLATTED ON THE GROUND #and the rest found him and instead of being like concerned #they just tied him up like 'before he runs away again'#it makes perfect sense in context but even in context its fucking hilarious

1710: “But, Fermet...snow is delicious..” (innocent, childish, pure)

1931: *wants to blow up everyone on the entire fuckin train* (cunning, sorta evil, lives in fear and isolation)

2001: “Stop making fun of me! I’m not a child anymore!” (starts to open up and trust other people (but still a bit hesitant), wants to atone for his sins)

2002: “Now feel like respecting your elders?” (more true to himself, have brighten up, the ‘older little brother’)

Honestly, I’m amazed by his character development. Narita did an amazing job!! He’ll always be my favourite character.
