D MUSEUM presents SOUNDMUSEUM, a large scale group exhibition filling the entire museum with sound and multi-sensory experiences from May 19 to December 27, 2020. The exhibition features 22 works across multifaceted categories, from sound installation, audience-driven performance, interactive sound installation, light art to visual music by 13 internationally recognized artists and collectives.

what i saw was pretty disappointing. 

the whole exhibit was nice. you slowly walk into see the shadow. and the background music and suspense builds up to this beautiful nostalgic moment. when when you really see what is casting the shadow, it’s just a flimsy plastic leaf being blown by a $3 fan in front of a cheap lamp and mirror.

maybe i wasn’t supposed to look at that.

or maybe the artist was trying to show us just how easily our memories and nostalgia can be manipulated to make us feel a certain way. 

idk. im tired
