“YOU MISSED OUT ON A CRAZY PARTY!” Michael announced as he let himself into Teddy’s apartment, a plethora of junk food in hand before collapsing onto the couch and ripping open the red vines, “Seriously...Everyone looked fucking insane. People’s dresses were so big it was like...any time anyone gave a little shimmy, they threatened to send someone overboard!” Though he was nearing the end of his first year in college, he still got pretty excited by the little things such as extravagant parties. “Wish you were there though.” He admitted, always having way more fun whenever his brother was there, “Wasn’t the same without you. Plus like...getting alcohol was annoying as fuck. They wouldn’t serve me! I look AT LEAST 23.” His veins were buzzing with caffeine, made evident by his jittery motions, “Sorry...I’ve had too much coffee today. How are you? What did you end up doing?”

The two had managed to break away from the chaos that was erupting downstairs, some new shit that Bash had got his hands on that they wanted to try in PEACE without assholes trying to bum off of them. The outlet was massive and the third floor was completely abandoned by partygoers alike and Bash couldn’t help but feel slightly terrified. It really was like a scene out of an actual horror movie. He’d been on edge the entire night. Though the alcohol did a lot to calm his anxiety, his cheek currently situated on Teddy’s chest, losing himself to the steady drumming of his ex’s heartbeat. Limbs were entangled upon limbs, lying upon a lawn/tanning chair that was either brought here by a drunken partygoer or a homeless person. With his finger he started to trace shapes upon Teddy’s stomach, “Wish we could stay here forever. Like this. Just the two of us.” Bash murmured softly, “Don’t think I can go back after this. I missed the memorial. My dad’s gonna be so fucking pissed. Like more pissed than ever.” He swallowed thickly, eyes fluttering closed as he could feel his heart start to race, “I think he might end up killing me this time.”

THE   TWO   OF   THEM   WERE   POSITIVELY   STONED   AT   THIS   POINT   and   personally   for   Rory,   she   wasn’t   sure   which   way   was   UP   or   down.   Luckily   the   lights   were   dim,   the   only   illumination   coming   from   the   string   of   christmas   lights   that   hung   just   above   her   bed,   hair   fanned   out   and   her   body   slotting   perfectly   with   the   male’s,   head   heavy   upon   his   shoulder.   Some   sort   of   spotify   playlist   was   playing   in   the   background,   shout   out   to   Alexa   for   the   current   entertainment,   brows   furrowing   as   she   tilted   her   head   up,   “I’m....severely   offended   right   now.”   Rory   began,   her   fingers   currently   toying   with   the   string   on   Teddy’s   hoodie,   “I   can’t   think   of...ONE   song   that's   named   after   my   name.   Seriously,   that’s   so...rude.”

IT HAD BEEN A WEEK and for the most part, Bash had remained stationary in his curled up position under his baby grand piano with nothing but a scratchy throw pillow stagnant under his head. Scattered around him were a couple of empty cans of spaghettios and beans which to be honest he didn’t really even remember eating. He didn’t remember most of the week, all of it blurring together in his mind, completely unaware of even what day it was and how much time had truly passed. He also didn’t even remember texting Teddy, convinced it was part of a dream seeing as he’d been doing nothing but sleeping, crying, pissing, shitting and staring at the crumpled up piece of sheet music that was conveniently in his peripheral vision for the better of a week.
