Happy 18th Birthday Jude,

So I may or may not have gone all out on this one, but Aunt Haley made the mistake of showing me online shopping, and giving me the number for my credit card. I made a nurse write this, so it wouldn't be too sloppy for you to read, although my handwriting is coming together.

I got you a Presidential Seal pin, cause I figured it was never too soon to wear your job on your person, plus you could build your new Lego White House and imagine doing all the Presidenty things you're going to do. I also got you this journal, with the key to my heart on it. Cause you see the way I see it, even when you can't be right there with me, it's yours. And maybe you can write down all the adventures you have without me, and tell them to me later. I got you this projector that Nate said would make it easier for you to show things. You can hook it up to your phone or computer or whatever and be able to show presentations anywhere. I hope it comes in handy. And last but not least I got you a first edition of Peter and Wendy. I know how much you love Peter, the Lost Boys and Neverland and I thought you would treasure this. Plus, as corny as it sounds, Sierra had me listening to the Jonas Brothers and they have this one song called Fly with Me. And they say Peter Pan and Wendy turned out fine...and I think we will too. Maybe I don't remember what made us special before, but I sure do remember what makes us special now. I may not know anything about who I was before, but I know that I love you, and maybe that's going to be more than enough.

I love you Jude Baker and even if I don't remember all the reasons why, I know my heart would have stopped beating without you.
