d'revath can keep a very, very straight and strong face during pain, but Honestly i don't know that xer pain tolerance is very exceptionally high. it can withstand a good bit of pain, but anything beyond- or multiple instances of- moderate pain is ... Definitely too much. it just wont say anything.
6. How easily do they cry? Is it different alone vs in public?
oh buddy. even alone it barely ever will.
a very long time ago, like 80 or so years, it was definitely a lot more open to crying, showing human emotion. it particularly preferred to do it infront of people where it could receive comfort. granted it was still not the most easy thing in the world- testosterone dominance is a bitch- but xe was still open to it. but since a particular incident, xe pretty rapidly closed xerself off from such vulnerability. xe is more likely to cry on xer own, but even that chance is slim.
7. Is there any emotion they find difficult to control (anger, sorrow, anxiety)?
d're is very, very poor at handling the specific emotion of feeling backed into a corner during confrontation. it will catch itself twitching & reaching for a gun in times of feeling cornered. xe can handle conflict pretty well until it's something xe can't make a point against, apologise for, or is uncomfortable discussing, and...well. it'll never actually draw a gun but god does it want to
12. Do they have someone they trust during their own time of need, or do they prefer to handle it alone?
depends on what the need is for. if it's a moment of needing advice, d're might turn to bihr or zorias (xer only good company these days), but if it's a moment of emotional sensitivity, that shit is not being spoken a word of to anyone.
19. Are they honest to themselves, or do they ignore feeling hurt or sad?
absolutely fucking ignores it im ngl to you man. doesn't acknowledge it until it's absolutely spilling over and then some. there was a time where xe was honest, but ... it's a tool for hell, especially now, why would it need to worry about trivial emotions?
