anon asked:
can u pls write one where Y/N wolff is only 6 years old, super smart, and somehow hacks into the comms of every F1 driver?? she ends up helping them mid-race (esp Ferrari bc strategy hell), shocking the whole grid + paddock. platonic, chaos, 3000+ words pls
Me: buckle up bestie.
THE DAY THE COMMS WENT WEIRD
It started in Bahrain.
Lewis Hamilton was mid-race, headphones on, fully locked into his rhythm. His engineer was about to speak when a tiny, high-pitched voice cut through his earpiece.
“Hi Uncle Lewis. It’s Y/N. You need to brake a little earlier into Turn 9 or you’re gonna lose two-tenths. Also drink some water.”
Lewis nearly swerved. “—EXCUSE ME???”
The engineers went feral on the pit wall. “Who the hell—? Where did that voice come from??”
Meanwhile, in the Mercedes garage, Toto Wolff froze mid-pace. Slowly turned. And there she was. His six-year-old daughter. Sitting cross-legged on the floor. Pink headphones on. Laptop in front of her. Calmly chewing on a gummy worm while typing furiously.
Toto: “Y/N. What… are you doing?”
Y/N: “Helping.”
Toto: deep inhale, Austrian panic noises
THE GRID FINDS OUT
The paddock chaos didn’t take long.
Charles (Ferrari):
Mid-qualifying, stressing about pit window. Then:
“Hi Charles. It’s Y/N. Box this lap, then do an out-lap with tire warm-up in Sector 2. Push hard in Sector 3. You’ll get pole.”
Charles blinked so hard he almost missed the apex. “What?? Toto’s child??”
“Yes. Ferrari strategy is bad. I fix it for you.”
He obeyed. He got pole. Ferrari engineers were left staring at each other like: did… a six-year-old just outperform our entire strategy department?
Carlos:
“Wait—wait—why do you help Charles and not me??”
Y/N: casually munching on goldfish crackers “Because Charles needed it more.”
Lando:
First he laughed. “There’s no way Toto’s daughter is actually—”
“Hi Lando. Brake bias 55 rear into Turn 1. Otherwise Oscar will outqualify you.”
…Lando listened. And sure enough—he beat Oscar by 0.021.
Oscar: “I—how—what—”
Y/N: “Skill issue.”
Fernando:
When he first heard the voice he straight-up thought he was hallucinating.
Y/N: “Hi Grandpa Fernando.”
Fernando: “…I am not your grandpa.”
Y/N: “Yes you are.”
Fernando: “…okay fine.”
Max:
“Who the hell is talking on my radio??”
Y/N: “Hi Max. Don’t floor it into Sector 2, you’ll lose tire temp. Lift and coast a little.”
Max: “Why would I listen to a six-year-old—” does it anyway …and goes purple sector.
Max: long silence “…keep talking.”
By the end of that weekend, the entire grid had realized: Toto’s six-year-old had somehow hacked everyone’s comms.
THE PADDOCK MELTDOWN
Journalists caught on instantly.
“BREAKING: Sources confirm that Toto Wolff’s daughter has hacked driver comms and may be responsible for Charles Leclerc’s recent pole position.”
Ferrari fans: “SHE’S THE HERO WE NEED.”
Red Bull fans: “How is this legal.”
Mercedes fans: “She’s literally 6. This is terrifying.”
In the paddock:
Horner tried to storm the Mercedes garage. Y/N just looked up from her tablet and said: “Hi Christian. Don’t be mad. Your tire degradation curve is wrong btw.”
Horner: malfunctioning
Andrea (McLaren TP) considered hiring her on the spot. “Do you want to join McLaren, little one?”
Y/N: “No thanks. I have juice boxes in Mercedes.”
Vasseur (Ferrari TP) literally begged her to stay on Ferrari comms permanently. “Please, bambino, we need you.”
CHAOS ON TRACK
From then on, every race was mayhem.
Silverstone:
Y/N told Lewis exactly when to pit before the rain hit.
She told Lando to “be brave into Copse.”
She told Charles to ignore his engineer.
All three moves worked.
Toto had his face buried in his hands the entire race.
Monza:
Y/N casually announced over comms: “Sainz, defend like a lion again.”
Carlos: visibly emotional “She gets me.”
Spa:
Y/N: “Oscar, you need to lift into Eau Rouge or you’ll crash.”
Oscar: “How do you—”
Oscar: does it, survives “…thank you small Wolff.”
THE DRIVERS START FIGHTING OVER HER
By mid-season, it wasn’t “can Y/N hack in?” It was “who does she like more?”
Charles showed up to the Mercedes garage with flowers.
Lando brought snacks.
Fernando promised to “adopt her as honorary grandchild.”
Max… offered her a seat in his sim rig.
Even George, her own teammate’s teammate, tried bribing her with stickers.
Toto: “Stop bribing my child like she’s a paddock witch!”
THE LEGEND GROWS
At Zandvoort, a storm hit mid-race. The FIA was scrambling. Nobody knew what to do.
Suddenly:
“Hi everyone. Full wets in five laps. Trust me.”
Half the grid listened. The other half didn’t.
Guess which half spun out?
At Singapore, she called a virtual safety car two laps before it happened.
At COTA, she told Lewis the exact lap to pit for undercut—and he won.
By Abu Dhabi, the FIA literally gave her an official headset just so her hacking wouldn’t crash their systems.
THE UNSTOPPABLE SIX-YEAR-OLD
When Mercedes won the Constructors’ Championship, Toto gave his thank-you speech.
“…and of course, thank you to my daughter, Y/N, who somehow hacked the FIA comms system and became the strategist of the entire grid. I don’t know whether to ground her or promote her.”
Lewis scooped her up onto the podium. “You’re the real champ.”
Charles ruffled her hair. “Please never abandon Ferrari.”
Lando made her promise to join his Twitch stream.
Fernando… handed her a juice box like it was a trophy.
