template #2: abnormality encounter
assembled from datamined limbus resources. get the psd here! required fonts: Liberation Sans
Man fuck this, you just know people are going to choose the Canned Experience even if the sandwich looks perfect. People don't ever want to experiment.
malkuthhhh
immediately thought about Salamano’s dog when watching the trailer…
Template #1: wiki.gg limbus character template for google docs!
I wanted to share the wiki format I used for my LCB Sinner profile. This mimics the wiki.gg by using multiple tabs to create a psuedo-website. It has a page for listing EGO and identities, EGO stats, and a Canto page format. It uses a pageless format and requires a zoom on smaller screens.
I also linked some helpful resources for making assets. This is a template for those who want to include some gameplay meta alongside their base sinner profile. As a warning, it's pretty hefty for that reason.
No credit is needed but I would love to see what people create! Soon i'll create a Ruina and Lobcorp style template as well.
Mage the Ascension: World of Darkness in the context of Limbus Company
We know Limbus Company has obvious ties to World of Darkness in the form of its Bloodfiends. Bloodfiend hierarchy greatly resembles that of Vampire: The Masquerade, an urban gothic setting detailing Vampires navigating a miserable urban setting. It borrows its naming (Kindreds) and its hierarchy (a generational system.) Lastly, its filial piety greatly resembles that of Blood Bonds or other structures of obedience, though Project Moon differs in making the feelings of loyalty more inherent.
We can wave away coincidence. KJH is aware about World of Darkness, which brings me to a lesser-known system: Mage the Ascension. Mage the Ascension (Which, from this point forward, I will be calling "Mage," and Vampire the Masquerade "Vampire") is a game about wizards. It is a wizard game. It is also a game chiefly about will, a "true" reality, and perception. I decided to make a little discussion about its potential similarities to Limbus. More under the cut.
