i played rockit for my mum once and she said something like “are those really the lyrics?” which is understandable. thats the way you are meant to interpret the song “it means nothing why would they even produce it”

the song is a critique on general pop music, so many artists sing about absolutely nothing, recycling melodies and lyrics that never had depth to begin with.

so they wrote a song with lyrics that did the same. 50% of the words are just “bla bla bla” and the words that arent such are just bullshit. they mean nothing. random phrases thrown together to form a song.

music exists to give new perspectives, or else to make you feel something. the industry just pumps out mindless (yet listenable) garbage to reel in millions of dollars. artists dont create art, artists are a face used to disguise a team of money hungry business men.
