June 1968: The members of Swedish band Baby Grandmothers are arrested in Finland when police finds a small amount of hashish in their possession. Previously Baby Grandmothers have been playing around Finland as part of the Aikakone (”Time Machine”) package tour with folk pop singer Anki Lindqvist (1945 - 2007) and Silvery, a band from Jyväskylä. Published in May 1968, Baby Grandmothers’ M.A. Numminen-produced 7″ single on small Finnish label Eteenpäin!/Forward!/Vorwärts! (headed by Numminen) enjoys some cult reputation.
