Time and time again, she felt herself looking to Althea for advice. It never came out the way she expected it to, but she knew to look for the deeper meaning behind her sister’s words. Every insult could be turned into something else entirely. The two of them were bad at saying they loved each other. Althea more than Aradia it felt like. Her sister was her life though. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for the other witch. It seemed that, in that thought process, she had forgotten a very vital part of that. Keeping herself alive to do anything and everything for Althea. She took a breath as she laid upon her sister’s bed, legs dangling over the edge as her boots scraped against the floor with every swing. It wasn’t until she heard the door open that she spoke.
“I never thanked you for following me here to Haven when I was exiled. I’m sure you would say that you didn’t follow me though so I’ll just say thank you for coming with me when you didn’t have to. You could’ve stayed there and joined in on the berating and the judgment, but you stayed at my side.” She lifted herself up to a sitting position. “I don’t know if I’ll live long enough to return the favor, Althea.”
