Rook: Any Veiljumper could do this. Why would you, specifically, have to do it?
Bellara: Because... Maybe then I can make up for it.
Rook: Make up for what?
Bellara: For not being good enough. When it counted. I—I'm sorry—I can't. Not right now.

After that entire expedition, Tianyou felt like he needed a hundred year nap. Maybe he needed to just head back to Avalon so that he could be with his father in his last moments. No. That wasn't why he was here. He didn't want his father to have his last moments. Not yet. Not before his time. So he would need to stay in Lysara for as long as necessary. He would have made his way back to the Stumble Inn to sleep for at least a few days, but he instead made his way to Lórien'dal. That was where he had felt that all too familiar presence. His main reason for going was to make sure Areina got a nice spa day for herself while he went off to do whatever he needed to do.
Which happened to be heading in the direction his Radar was bringing him towards to find Riandur. He hadn't felt the other's presence in that regard in a long time. All he really knew was that the silver elvhen was alive and that felt like enough then. Now? Well, things were falling apart so much that he felt like the only person he wanted to see was the one person he didn't think he would see again. When he finally happened upon the silver elvhen, he let out a sigh of relief before clearing his throat. "I would say I'm surprised to see you here, but you would know I already knew you were here."

Having not seen the prince since their...moment, Agron was quite concerned. He shouldn't have been, but his mind kept telling him that he should apologize or try and make amends of some sort. It had never been in his nature to be that kind of person though. He was a man of duty, the Queensguard. The Mordecai family was one he had sworn loyalty to and that, for certain, included Leander. He was sure he had messed up whatever progress they had made with just one moment though. And, with how Agron was as a person, he didn't know how to fix it. A bottle of cologne sure wasn't going to cut it this time.
Nevertheless, that was only the second reason he had made his way to the border. Refugees had been making their way over to Lysara and now they simply could not. This barrier was one that nobody seemed to know how to dispel and this was far above Agron's abilities to even try to do anything about it. The witches of the Tower were sure to be trying to figure out a way. Until then, they would all have to stay put. Maybe it would be handled soon, maybe it wouldn't. Either way, Agron was more concerned about the safety of Lysarans. And the royal family.
That was what brought him to Leander. He wasn't sure how the witch would treat him now, but he would be prepared to adapt. The other's back was to him as he arrived so he cleared his throat. "Prince Leander."

Alessia was still gone, nowhere to be found. Alrik was struggling with that loss as much as Prospero had expected the witch would. Then again, he didn't want to consider it a loss. It wasn't one and it wouldn't be. Hrimthur's Outpost was safe for now, but they had to go save the ones that had been taken. As much as he didn't really care if the others made it back, he still wanted to help. Alessia was important to him now and he had made a promise. They would all make it to Lysara. All three of them. So they would have to get her back. In preparation for the fight ahead though, Prospero did what he did best. He had a drink. This was only drink one though and it was the only one he would allow himself because he certainly was no master of drunken fist fighting. Turning his head, he looked at his company. "Do you plan on joining our gang to go save our fellow refugees from darkspawn?" He took another sip of his drink as soon as the question left his mouth and then continued. "It'll be a grand time, don't you think?" It wouldn't be.
of course every marriageable character in stardew is bi by necessity but my god some of elliott's marriage dialogue for female players reads so incredibly gay-man-making-shit-up. to his husband he says "you look really handsome today! did you shave?" while to his wife he says... "your feminine allure is irresistible today". like if i heard a man say that to a woman i'd be like oh sweetheart... it's never too late to be your true self... let's get you some pamphlets... and it COULD have been a perfectly normal line here. if concernedape had just written "beautiful" instead of handsome and removed mentions of shaving this would be a perfectly sweet compliment that would not make my gaydar explode. so why DIDN'T HE

The last thing Lucanis had found himself ever wanting, especially recently, was to be back within Avalon guarding something that had no activity. Well, until now of course. He'd stayed away from Avalon this long and now he had been forced to come back. He was positive that his mothers were jumping for joy at the news. Lucanis? Not so much. He had been stressed ever since he heard the news. Being back here only reminded him of why he had left? But then there was another part of him that was thinking about the fact that this was the most action he'd seen in this place in his entire life. The eluvian had activated, but there was still nothing that had gone in or out. It was just as stagnant as before. The only difference now was that it was working. So here Lucanis stood at his post for now until he was pulled away long enough to get back outside of Avalon again.
Then again, there was a reason why he was even still here. Lucanis would have been lying if he had said he wasn't here to simply be near one specific person. Even if that person was more annoyed with his presence than ever. Maybe things would be different now that he was in Avalon, but that was a far reach. Nevertheless, his gaze flickered towards where Ikaros was standing. They scanned the other's frame for a moment before he made the decision to walk over. Once he made it there, he stood beside the prince, eyes flicking toward him again. "Will you be staying?"
