Honestly, I Read somewhere that kamui probably have a mommy kink and my first instinct was like "no way, wtf" but then i really thought about it and went "fuck he just might 🫦".

Bonus: he definitely makes it fucking weird.

I see where this comes from but I 100% not agree with it wvxuanziqnoz.

Let me bring 2 characters I write for that for me have mommy kinks: Vergil from dmc and Michael Kaiser from bllk. What they seek for are love and approval. One always thought his mom never loved him as much as his brother, the other never had it and his ego/character development is all about being loved.

What do they both strive for: love, genuine, what they didn't have (or think he didn't have), the type that usually comes from a mother figure.

With Kamui it is an entirely different situation. He strives for power, to be the strongest in the universe since he wasn't strong enough to save his mother life. I think he has way more daddy issues (since Kanko "wasn't able" to save her, even if Kouka was conscious that she wouldn't be able to spend as much time as she wanted with her family). The figure that should have been the strongest actually failed, so he has to be better. There isn't that search for love the other two has, Kamui knows he was loved. He has a deep respect (for a yato pirate upbringing) for mothers and mother figures, that's why I don't see him as someone developing a mommy kink. It's a figure he doesn’t search for in his life, he had one.

Kamui has no need to be taken care of. He isn’t searching for someone coodling him, or making him feel loved in that way.
