Some better shots of the d.eer bones from yesterday- I can't get over how tiny some of the vertebrae are compared to the other bones?? Like the second pic is a comparison of two Atlas verts and one is like half the size of the other?? I'm thinking the deer I found the tiny vertebrae with may have been pregnant, or maybe they're from a different animal altogether? Maybe not even a juvenile d.eer. Anyway I'm visiting my aunt today so I just sort of dumped all these together in a tub of soap water... most are p brittle- I hope they do okay 😬
