what we need atm to fill the yawning void between chapter releases:

just like what other anime series have between seasons/filler episodes. insert whatever series you want, the majority of anime movies for a series have in common:

random cardboard villains so unbelievably evil that even the Noah want to kill them ded it’s cathartic to watch the Big Damn Heroes finally f*ck them up

animation bump = cooler fights/battles

explore minor/background points of the world setting (other Black Order branches? How Central/CROW was established? the Millenium Earl taking over Japan?)

match movie setting to a season/theme (is it matsuri season? time for a trip to the hot springs, anyone? Innocence hunting?)

maybe explore a minor character’s background/arc (the other Generals; stories about the Science Division, etc)

random exorcist (for duration-of-movie) character

random movie love interest(s)

everyone gets a Badass Moment, even the villains

Captain’s log

I have lost track of the days here in the d.gray-man fandom, each chapter passing with more questions than answers. Tensions are running high.

Lavi is still missing, his whereabouts a constant nagging question since he hasn’t been seen since Road went missing.

Road is still missing, though she was briefly seen with Wisely a few chapter’s ago. She has no body. The status on that hasn’t changed.

Where the frickity fuck is Allen, the world may never know. We’ve seen a crap ton of Nea the shitlord recently.

I think Kanda is missing too. I’ve lost track. Everyone is missing

I think Timcampy is dead. Fuck. 

What happened with Nea and Road? We don’t know

What happened with Nea and Mana? We also don’t know

All we know is people are missing, the Order is being stupid, Allen (Nea) has morphed from his previous Moe form to full blown cunt, The Earl seems to be bouncing between an emotionally unstable dude to a complete psycho that eats souls, Link is there to keep the fourteenth company, Johnny is still knocked out, our beloved manga is getting an anime, and Tyki cut his motherfucking hair. And he’s a hot asshole.
