Spring is comming
Long time venerated Australian producer Cassian dropped a wicked jam before the end of 2016 as a thank you to fans, and I can’t help but shuffle my feet endlessly all across the room to the song. Don’t Go is a deep disco homage to Puzique hit Don’t Go, a song Cassian regards as one of his favorites of all time. Those of you who’ve had the pleasure of dancing the night away to Cassian may recognize this ode from his sets. We now get to dance to our heart’s content at home, too. The world around me fades away as Cassian’s sprightly chords and juicy ravishing sampling of Puzique casts a star spangled spell over me.

The first game is so Dazai in a way I can’t will explain. The AI wanting to find its humanity and it coming to the conclusion that it could only truly be sentient after experiencing the most human act of dying totally feels like young Dazai finding his passion for death and inevitably starting his journey of trying to be human, find a purpose, a reason to live, much like the feelings of the AI who’s whole entire purpose was to gain humanity.
And in the end both D.I.M and Dazai will never get what they are searching for, you can’t force humanity. D.I.M is AI after all, it will always be artificial and Dazais humanity was lost the moment he got crowned “The Demon Prodigy”. Oda was right, the hole in his heart will always swallow whatever light tries to fill the void.
Both are destined to remain something not fake enough to ignore but not real enough to love.
