You have worked endlessly with so many celebrities for the past 5 years working for one of the biggest multi-national company in South Korea as you climbed up through the hierarchy to be general manager of the marketing team there. You were living the greatest point of your life, your career was nice, you had so many good friends, everything was just fine and great. The same feeling that you had that morning when you woke up around 6.35 am, you dressed up yourself and had a quick breakfast, you were going to meet Do Kyungsoo from EXO as the newest brand ambassador for the product your company’s going to lunch. You didn’t know much about him actually, you were mainly focusing on the concept of the commercials, product placement, and other marketing and branding cores. You took your normal driving route, arriving around 8.45 am.
“Good morning, everyone. How is everyone’s weekend?” you greeted your team.
“It was a disaster! My boyfriend was sick after the wind blows too hard while we were at the beach, we have to go home early” Yoojin said while pouting.
“Maybe he just doesn’t like the idea of you dragging him into the beach in so early morning,” Sumi said with laughter.
“That might be possible because he went on a drink the next day with his friends,” Yoojin said.
“Okay people, the weekend is over we need to get going with this new project coming” you handed out 4 files to 4 people in your team. Everyone looked surprised except for yourself because you already knew everything.
“You didn’t say that the concept we were making is for…. him” Soomi gasped as she saw the profile you handed out.
“Isn’t he like the biggest multi-talent celebrity there? I mean like he does singing, acting and now this… with our company” Hageun, the new intern said.
“Remember, we need to keep our professionality for this project, or else you all won’t be getting bbq party” you knew the best way to make people come with their best efforts is by giving them rewards.
“AH no please, we will work hard, (Y/N)-ssi” Wonjun pressed his hands together and made a pouting face at you.
“Okay everyone, for bbq party!” you cheered with them.
Everyone was seated next to your right and the marketing director sat next to your left. Kyungsoo entered the room last before he took a seat in front of you, he was greeting you one by one. You could feel everyone from your team was drolling at the sight of him. You had to admit, he does look good. You made your way to present the whole draft concept that your team has been making for a month, the director told you only to make a rough draft and let’s see after the meeting.
“So that would be all from the marketing team, please don’t hesitate to ask if there is any question regarding this draft concept,” you said, closing the presentation, you glanced to the audience only to meet Kyungsoo’s eyes. You were kinda used to the attention you have while giving out presentation, but the look he gave was something else you have never seen before, you shook your thought quickly.
“Do Kyungsoo-ssi will be working with the concept alongside with your marketing team, he will be in charge of several changes to match his personality as a public figure and such. I hope you all can work well” the director spoke which left everyone including you in the marketing team shocked. You didn’t know that you all would be working together. “Kyungsoo is very detailed with everything and he wants everything just ok to meet his expectation, he really loves to share his ideas,” his manager said while patting Kyungsoo’s back.
“Here is (Y/N)-ssi will be in touch with you throughout the entire project” the director gave out a warm smile, he has always been a very good mentor and boss to you.
“I think we are all done here, the team will start the meeting on Friday, is that okay?” he glanced into Kyungsoo.
“That will be just fine” a sweet smile escaped from his face.
When everyone was about to leave the room, you were trying to gather everything faster. You had another meeting coming out that evening.
“(Y/N)-ssi, may I get your phone number?” his voice startled you, making you almost drop everything.
“Ah yes, it’s 010-7890-6595. I’ll get going first, I have another meeting coming up” you flashed a smile at him.
“I’m looking forward to working with you, I think it will be a nice one” he replied to you.
