I'm looking to make a silly deck that flickers D00-DL. Caricaturist to get more tokens. Being in colorless is a big restriction, but I feel like I've got the obvious double etbs and stuff. Any tips?
Quite a strategy, and yes, colorless does limit the card pool quite a bit. Though stuff can still be found!
Abstruse Archaic can copy every ability in the deck, or should, but might have been missed as a doubler. Strionic Resonator is the same, but a bit more involved. Still, both can either copy the etb trigger of D00-DL or whatever is flickering it.
Dollhouse of Horror and God-Pharaoh's Gift will both allow you to get another "free" D00-DL whenever it dies, without having to pay commander tax for that one time, and can usually find other uses.
That's what immediately comes to mind as far as the main strategy, but let's see what else can help in colorless...
A couple equipment that'll turn any sac outlets into expensive sources of blinking for D00-DL, functioning slightly differently.
Generally speaking, all of this is more redundancy of those kinds of effects, but I imagine the pinch will mostly be on mana considering D00-DL is already six mana. So this colorless deck will likely end up more on the side of "pile of mana rocks" of colorless decks than anything else.
With that said, with that much effort spent on flickering, probably have a few more things that would be good to flicker and allow a bit earlier a game.
