My childhood sports movie trinity

So, I'm rewatching D2 for like the 100th time, and I noticed something. When it came to the Alley-oop, Charlie chose Adam and Dwayne to make the play.

Now Dwayne makes sense cause he's the stick handler, but him choosing Adam as the follow-up really struck me. We know Adam is good at hockey, but to have Charlie trust him over like Jesse, Connie or Guy was interesting.

I wonder if he picked Adam because he knew he needed someone who could follow through, and Adam is their best player.

However, I also wonder if Adam offered because he trusted Charlie. Charlie definitely thinks outside the box and while that would normally freak Adam out. He is a rule follower and all. I feel like that is overruled by the trust he has in Charlie.

It may be my shipper glasses, but I thought it was interesting.

So in D2 Portman put Kenny on top of the goal before the big fight took place between the new and old Ducks.

So, did he get down alone, or did someone help him down. Julie or Dwayne probably helped him.

Last night I realized that there are quite a few players on the Washington Capitals who remind me of players from the Mighty Ducks films.

I knew I'd wind up writing this eventually. I'm quite proud of it. I'm welcome to other comparisons!
