Just saw the best Burlesque performance at Gencon! D20 Burlesque has been something I was aware of for EVER, but I'd never gone to a show until now. Holy hell, it was amazing! The characters I saw represented tonight.... The only one I could ever have guessed was Danerys Targaryen. There was a performance as Birdo, DC Comic's Kite Man, Captain Barbosa from PotC, Noh Face, Lando Calrissian and even fucking Tasha from DnD!! I think my favorite moment was during the Magic The Gathering performance, where she put out big magic cards and flipped them over. When she flipped over the black lotus, she then tapped it and tossed it aside, because to activate a Black Lotus, you gotta tap and sacrifice them. HOWLING. Can't wait to go to the show again next year!

On Saturday, 5/19 I'll be loafing about and pushing buttons at The Parkside Lounge for Clothes Deleted! A Burlesque Tribute to Homestar Runner presented by D20 Burlesque.
