PROJECT 1.1 - Street and Sell
The Pear Roti Thai Thonglor
Location plays an important role in the placement of the stall of the vendor. In this case, the vendor is conveniently situated near the BTS station so as to potential customers from among the transit users, and particularly so during the sky train’s peak hours. The mobility of the vendor’s cart/stall is by its compact, roll-able and stable structure.
The stall’s structure is made so that the packing and replacement of the ingredient during the process of making food is well timed. If there were to improve the stall i think the frying pan and the place for the rotis to flip, smash would be better if it’s bigger and cleaner.
This vendor offers three main kinds of rotis, namely the roti with eggs, the roti with banana and the plain and simple roti. Located in Sukhumvit Soi 55 and only a few shops away from the BTS station, accessibility to the vendor’s stall is hassle-free . Although operating alone, the vendor offer excellent services that consistently fulfil her customer’s needs.
The vendor sets up shop every day except Sunday, and is open from 6:00 am to 6.30 pm.
The vendor herself lives only across the road from her business hence eliminating commutes, which prior to her current enterprise, posed a 2-year long problem of moving around. Her business helps support her and her daughter, who she seeks to enrol into the Chula Nursing Program.
