Seems like today’s fae friday! I don’t have nearly enough of these lil gremlins ;o;
Names & lore under the cut!
Row 1: Storm (she/her) & Ilrae (she/her). Storm!! My lovely custom progen and the current matriarch of Thunder Hollow. She’s basically the center of Thunder Hollow’s entire arc, being both the original founder and current leader. She came to the territory hoping to make some major zoological breakthrough and get her name out in the scientific sphere; instead, she wound up creating an entire clan from scratch. Ilrae’s another major figure, since she’s the clan’s Arcane representative. She’s blind from enduring a crystal explosion when she was still a (morally dubious) geneticist at the Starfall Isles.
Row 2: Sarah (she/her) & Ocean (she/her). Two more “nostalgia dragons” right here! Sarah is actually the granddaughter of Storm and the daughter of Ocean. She serves as the clan’s treasury accountant, working with her father and grandfather to keep the clan’s funds secure. Ocean was initially the matriarch of my 100 hatchling challenge but she eventually evolved into a true lore dragon! She undertook the challenge in an effort to prove that she was fit to tend the clan’s nests (which had a history of failing due to unrecognized ley-line failure), but was eventually forced to stop when it began to cause physical issues. Now, she’s a part-time employee at several local shops--and a volunteer nest caretaker alongside one of her other daughters.
Row 3: Leon (he/him) & Tisul (he/him?). Neither of these lads have much lore atm, but I’ll share what few tidbits I’ve workshopped for them! Leon was once a popular arena fighter who decided to leave the business after discovering a mistreated young fighter who was in grave need of an escape. Tisul’s capsule belly contains molten glass--or it used to. After one of his glass projects half-blinded his brother when it broke, he vowed only to consume enough sand to sustain him--not enough to work with.
Row 4: Twill (she/her) & Unnamed. Once again, not much lore on these two! Twill is the daughter of a guardian whose Charge, Twill’s father, suddenly disappeared not long after the nest was laid. Twill is now the center of all her mother’s frantic affection--and that might not be a good thing. As for the unnamed boyo, I honestly have no clue at the moment! I was considering him for a graveyard keeper (using that one festival skin ;o;) but idk if that really suits him...
Row 5: Huh, who knew I could actually fit five rows? Anyways, Calyx (he/him) & Petal (she/her). Calyx is Thunder Hollow’s energetic design architect! Petal is less of a dragon and more of a nature spirit who happens to have a skill for granting wishes. She dwells in a tree at the center of Thunder Hollow’s main public garden and might consider granting any wish that is written on a scroll and tied to a branch on her tree.
