“This is stupid! Fuck Deaton, we should’ve stayed anyway,” Liam grumbled, slamming the door to his apartment and kicking his shoes off, letting them stay wherever they landed. They’d been kicked out of the animal clinic by Deaton and told to go sleep or something - like that was actually going to happen - and he hated every second of it. Lori was back, she was safe, but he wanted her to stay that way. He wanted to make sure she was still there with his own eyes, which was impossible when he was across town in his stupid apartment that smelled like her.
He sighed, at least it gave him a chance to feed Augustus, who was already sitting by his bowl staring as soon as they’d opened the door. “Alright, bud, give me a sec.”
