Just thinking about how there are seemingly sphinxes in Thedas. Or at the very least, they're not real but a fictional creature that's depicted. Two big ones overlooking Dock Town, and the haunted mansion in the Hossberg Wetlands has a few statues of them about.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Scenery 1/∞ - Haven

I passed through Haven on my pilgrimage to see the Temple of the Sacred Ashes. There was a storm, and I took shelter in the hall of Haven's chantry. Though they were dusty from neglect, the walls of that lonely place were strong and shielded me from the biting winds. Peace came upon me, and my eyes were opened to Haven's incredible beauty. It could not be overcome by the pain and the horror of the past. It could not be masked by decay and disuse. It would not be forgotten.

The Exalted Plains (1/2)

The Exalted Plains are steeped in conflict. Centuries ago, the Elves of the Dales made their last stand here. More recently, The Plains played host to some of the most heated conflicts of the Orlesian Civil War. Somehow, despite ages of unrest, the lands the elves call "Dirthavaren" retain a fragile beauty.
