Can't wait for da4 to also ignore the fact Merrill cured the fucking Blight with blood magic and is therefore the only mage to have done so successfully and deliberately in living memory. Going absolutely feral with how underused she is. The fact Morrigan is the Eluvian advisor in dai is fiiiine if a bit obnoxious. Like I know she's connected to Flemeth and therefore Mythal but Merrill rebuilt an Eluvian and cured its blight and she did it without stealing knowledge and claiming to be better than a dalish clan.

Like im just a lil salty she's not valued with how much she brings and how smart she is. The fact Merrill gets reduced to some innocent baby who idk stumbled into her achievements instead of a grown woman who is incredibly smart and capable.

Also the whole well of sorrows thing is bullshit

I'm replaying da2 as a rogue Hawke who is going to romance Anders because I've never done that nor have I had a playthrough with Bethany.

Thoughts so far?

Aveline hits different when you don't have Carver as your surviving sibling.

Bethany, I would kill for her. I do want to redesign her hair though.

Varric is Varric.

Also I've noticed there is a lot more head coverings and like satchels around people's necks in da2 than I remember. I'm playing on console so no mods to be mucking with things.

Also I resent that mages can't lockpick. Feels like a scam. Especially apostate mages.

Oh, also they reused so many assets from DA2 that they just upped the textures on. Like I knew this from digging into the game files of Inquisition but it is kinda funny seeing them in their original state.

I found the bucket and table toilet in DA2. Sometimes DA2's scaling is as inconsistent/hilarious as Inquisition.

DA2 really says at the start you're the oldest sibling. Your family is your responsibility. Your mum blames you for your baby brother's death. You just met this woman and its your responsibility to put her husband out of his misery. YOU owe a debt to a witch. you're now a refugee. you have to figure it out for everyone. You have to support them, because no one else will. People trust you, because no one else would look twice. It's a gamble, but if you don't help, no one else will.
