I mostly want to know if Fenris is safe, happy, eating his veggies and getting regular smooches from Hawke. But also if he is leading a slave rebellion in Tevinter because yes.

I know a few people who don’t think he would want to be involved in something like that, but it’s definitely something I would like to see them do.

(And if they want to go down the lyrium poisoning route then I think a good personal quest for him would be breaking into Danarius’s old estates and stealing his notes so that you can get a cure made)

Seeing Merril sass solas or pretending to be completely dumb to piss him off would be so good, she could be a spy from within solas' followers, that could be good and they would just need her to send in reports about solas' activity

She would drive him up the wall, and honestly, that would just make my day.

I think Dorian's definitely going to guest-star as Companion From the Previous Game Returning As Advisor/Companion, because the Trespasser ending/previews of concept art intimate pretty heavily that it'll be set in Tevinter, and he's going to be there no matter what you do (it'll be interesting to see if they do the "hardened/not" thing OR if he'd be romanceable again based on Inquisition events. They also built Harding up a LOT in the DLCs, I think she's going to be a romanceable companion.

I also feel like Dorian is a 100% garuntee for the next game.

I would LOVE for a dwarf romance option. If Varric is still a no-go, Harding would be an excellent choice!

I want to find out that Felix was actually recruited into the Grey Wardens. And I want the Hero to have found a cure for blight sickness/the calling.

Ooh, I’d never thought/heard about that idea! Felix was an intriguing character and it would be fun if he had actually survived.

And I want that too! We have so many wardens we care about, in addition to the Hero. It would be nice to know that Alistair/Warden Carver/Anders, if they exist in your world, aren’t going to have to face that fate. When you read the novels, it really makes the Calling worse to think about.

I'm really not sure if DA devs are planning on continuing the Inquisitor's role as the player character or introducing a new one. I have a feeling it's the former. I also think they're going to make a real attempt to bring the Warden from Origins back.

I feel like they’ve said before that they wouldn’t, but I also feel like if we ever meet Sten on the battlefield it will lose a ton of impact if our Warden is not there. What a missed opportunity that would be!

I want to see more options for human characters than "you were born a noble!!!!!!!��" bc that's a garbage fire in Tevinter and I want none of it. I want, finally, the human commoner origin we so richly deserve! And as much as I love Sten and Bull, more options for a qunari companion than "Giant Fuckoff Barbarian Man" would be nice, too. Basically I'm with starla-nell, non-repetitive OC background options are greatly needed.

It would actually be pretty in line for Ryn and Dorian, because they aren’t in the happiest place by the end of Trespasser, but I could see where it would upset a lot of people.

I do remember them talking about how much more complex they wanted to make relationships, where you had to work on it more than just flattering the LI and bringing them gifts and whatnot, and where you could actually have to go through hard times with them. This idea would fit into that scenario pretty nicely.

I want appearances from Dorian and Fenris at minimum. I love the idea of the OC being an agent of one of our previous companions: someone fighting in Fenris' slave rebellion, one of Zevran's new Crows, someone Merrill taught lore to, a member of Velanna's new clan, a spy for Leliana, an agent of the Divine, a Circle mage, a College Enchanter, a new Seeker, one of Isabela's crew.

I saw a picture of a Gaider forum post the other day, pre DA:I, where he mentioned using all of the DA2 companions again in some capacity and that fans who didn’t like them would have to “deal with it.” Since we only really saw Varric (and, I guess Isabela, via multiplayer) it makes me wonder if they still have plans for the rest or if they got completely scrapped.

A player character with a connection to an old companion would be amazing!!
