He does try to smile and play it off before Johnny pushes him. And there is that bit at the start of the second movie where the Trophy Incident takes place.

(maybe he felt in retrospect that it was a shame they couldn't have been friends? Not that johnny was making it very easy, honestly lol.)

So I find it interesting that this seems to have been a trait to develop sometime in tkk2 or Tkk3 and then really develop in the years between tkk3 and CK.

But I digress.

He is a fully fledged Good Boy. It only takes a simple and heartfelt apology for him to forgive someone. (Sometimes not even that.)

As for the height, I don't think tkk era Daniel would care. Chozen is only slightly taller than Daniel and he likes him plenty. Maybe his thing for Large and Intense men developed over time as a response to the effect of all three movies?

Ship bingo: Daniel/Bobby Brown. I actually think they have potential in KK1?

This is honestly one of those ships that I do think has a lot of potential. (And I think part of it is because Bobby has relatively little characterization by comparison)

But it's an interesting dynamic to think about. Bobby was a Cobra and he did bully him. Did it feel good in the moment? We know he regretted it though. He was the nicest Cobra (subjectively).

He grew up to be a pastor. Interesting.

He has the infamous "he's had enough" line during the Halloween beat down.

This is really a ship that I don't personally have any stake in, but I think that it could be something really interesting.
