MATT MURDOCK’S KID
[OC] Matt Murdock’s daughter: Donnie F. Murdock
Messy + Unedited
- Matt would be a fucking-fantastic-father, change my mind
- In this case: He didn’t meet her until she was 18 and making quite a name for herself as the best known Detective in Europe
- She’s known as Half&Half, only because after some years she had ended up blinded and deaf on the right side
- She met Matt after coming to NY and being shown on tv for cracking many serious cases in a day: EXTRA, EXTRA --> The True Freak of Crime Nature! Read all about it!
- She has glasses that are blacked out on her right eye, like Harry Hart from Kingsman
- Upon going to Nelson & Murdock, Attorneys at Law TM, she deduces something rather odd. Other than the fact her last name is the same as Matt’s, but she brushed that off as common. She had spoken deduced, Karen first, that’s where the company duo found her spouting off.
“Dear, oh dear, you’ve encountered something rather traumatic in the last month. You had found your place here for a few weeks while conversing with a reporter, you’ve eaten granola and drank black coffee with two sugars this morning, with a hint of whiskey, that’s rough, and you constantly worry about redundant things. You’ll work yourself to death, you know. I also know, you didn’t kill your co-worker.” Don whispered the last part to Karen, startling her.
“Woah. That’s—that’s so cool!” “Foggy!”
“Ah yes, Nelson and Murdock. Pleasure.”
“Likewise, it’s just Foggy and Matt. You are?”
“As funny as it sounds, Donovana Murdock. Consulting Detective. Just call me Donnie.”
“Murdock?”
“It’s a common last name. Nothing more, nothing less. Besides, I’m from Europe. I’m here on the matter of the abrupt stop to the case for...Karen Page vs. Daniel Fisher.”
“Why are you here from Europe?”
“A colleague asked for my help, even though this place is an absolute shithole.”
“Charming.” “I know.”
- After the chat and whatnot on the matter, she kept and kept staring directly at Matt deducing every little thing off of him, to go as far as what made those marks on his upper eyelid, or how his hands were sore, even without touching them. Donnie asked to meet with Matt afterwards.
- “Is there something I can help you with, Donnie?” She sighed through her nose, words and phrases cascading around the head of the older Murdock.
- “Didn’t your father tell you not to fight?” Silence. Matt took a teetering step back, his cane gripped in his hand’s clutch.
“How did you--?”
“Deductions. Didn’t you hear I’m the new freakshow detective in Hell’s Kitchen?”
“How long?”
“Temporarily.”
“Let’s talk over a drink.”
“Too young, but I’ll go.”
“…Sorry. This way.”
