Yes! I saw @dabisburntnut ‘s post about Thorin (here) and I have to say, I completely agree! About Fili too.
I think Fili would set out to learn as much as he can. About what his child needs, how he can be a good dad to this child, the best things for this child and what in life is harder for this child because of his/her/their special needs. This kiddo would be LOVEDDDDDD, so loved and cherished and supported and this little pebble would KNOW. Kiddo would never be treated differently. Every one of Fili’s kids would be special to him, he’d spend alone time with each one and they’d often spend a lot of fun time together as a tight knit family. Bottom line, he shows he cares every second of every day.
