Alastor's smile is taut, eyes fired with rage as he glares down at the mangled corpse of the other. He hadn't even been due his lunch yet, but when he heard her screams he knew he wouldn't be satisfied until he'd crunch the bastards heart between his canines.

     “Hey there, Max, you all right, buddy?” The words were spoken softer than his usual tone and laced with obvious concern as he ducked into the child’s tent, an extra blanket tucked under his arm in case it was needed. “Gee, I’m awful sorry Gwen told everybody about your teddy bear like that. That wasn’t very nice of her, and I know I can’t make up for what she did, but I just want to tell you that you shouldn’t have to be embarrassed by having something like that. Heck, lots of people have teddy bears, or dolls, or even special blankets that make them feel better. Even me!”

     “You know kid, you should really try and be nicer to your classmates.” He spoke to the young girl from across the vacant hallway, voice carrying easily without the hustle and bustle of the day. Girl sure did stay in late today, at least it made for a good opportunity to talk with her.

     He had taken notice of her passive attitude towards certain students in particular. But unlike say, Bakugou, who was just naturally a bit aggressive to everybody, she didn’t strike him as a person who MEANT all that she said. “Look, I’m not here to pass any judgement. I don’t know you personally, not even my student. But if you want some advice, keep as many ties as you can. You might regret burning those bridges someday.”
