I don't know why, but my brain has been infested with dad KC ideas for the past month, you can not tell me this man isn't overprotective and paranoid. Helicopter parent at its finest.
How I imagine it started was maybe your glitch? And eventually, KC manages to lock you up, maybe you got a little too cocky messing with him or smt I don't know. At first, he acts how you expect, taunting and mocking you about the exit. Cruelty dangling the chance to escape above your head before taking it away.But over time, he slowly but gradually changes how he acts with you. Going from taunting to teasing, mocking to playful. The guy even starts giving you little treats every now and then, makes you a little weirded out how he seems to be satisfied when you do eat, even if it's a little piece of candy or something.
Maybe he lets you out of the fungeon, finally letting you roam and look around (with him with you of course). But don't expect him to let you out of the castle, and it's for multiple things. He knows how the racers treat that glitch, he knows because he made them treat her like that..but, he doesn't want the same for you (and if anyone were to find out he was taking care of another glitch, he would excuse it by saying your more stable and won't cause trouble, would never say that to your face though). And also, he's just overprotective.
Since he sees you as his kid (which he has yet to get used to), he subconsciously acts more like himself. So basically a mix of turbo and KC, he could be bitchy and annoyed one second then silly and goofy the next. Say some real mean bully ass shit to you before ending it with a 'oopsies!' or 'excu'thse me dear', it gives you whiplash.
Also, board games. And he will throw the table if he loses.
