Hi Kids,
I want to formally apologize that we haven’t gotten to the amount of asks in the ask box. Life sort of gets in the way sometimes, but we haven’t forgotten about you. We love all of you and wish you the best in any current struggles, and promise to get back to you real soon.
Love, Dad Michals.
So just so I'm getting this right, you guys are adopting everyone who asks and acting as father figures, giving advice and things? That's really cool of you guys!
That’s right!
We’re there for all of you kids who need us!

I followed for the ddadds funnies, stayed for the anon kiddos and fatherly advice. I've seen posts about people who are willing to be "Tumblr moms," supportive presences for those whose relationships with their moms may not be the best. I'd never seen a dad equivalent. It warms my heart! Thanks, dads!
It warms our hearts to hear things like this, thank you, from all of us!

I finally stood up to my abusive mom today after she went trough my texts and decided to shame me for everything I did, I told she had no right to go through my shit and that she was out of line, but I feel like I need to apologize for that. I know I'm right, I know I didn't do anything bad, but I feel awful and I don't know why.
I’m so proud of you for standing up for yourself. You don’t deserve to be shamed, especially by a parent. You could apologize and say, “I am sorry for snapping at you the way I did, but I don’t appreciate being shamed by my own parent” and add what you’d like. You still need to assert yourself.

hey dads, im ftm but for my own dysphoria's sake, i dont like calling myself trans or being out on the internet (even if its a safe space). i try my best to present as a cis male online, but my mom says thats akin to catfishing, or that i should just call myself trans because thats what i am. she's very accepting otherwise, but she doesnt seem to understand that calling myself trans makes myself feel like less of a man. is it okay to not identify that way, and continue to call myself cis online?
Calling yourself trans won’t make you less of a man. The safe space that is the internet, will always be full of people who could say otherwise, but you don’t need to listen to them, because you are who you are.
It’s complicated for me to give an answer, because part of me says it isn’t right to “lie” and say you’re cis. Trans is beautiful. Own it. In no way would it make you less of a man. Odds are, when you come out and state with confidence that you’re trans, people will be very accepting.
It was hard for me to come out on the internet, too. But when I did, people I thought who would turn away from me, didn’t. They supported me.
Generally - be true to yourself, and I’m glad your mother is supportive. You have one supporter, and coming clean to the world of the internet will still gain you support.

Hey Dads! Guess what??? I got sent floowwweerrrsss by a /secret admirer/! But I've no clue who they're from... no idea how to look after an orchid, either.... Any advice, Detective Dad? Love, Jessica x
Hey now, getting sent flowers from a secret admirer is a big thing! As for the orchid… I hope you googled that, I’m not the best gardener. If you want to, there’s no harm in trying to find out who that admirer is. Regardless of who it is, just be kind to them. <3

hey dads,,, my friends completely stopped talking to me. I thought they were real and then once I moved they ditched me... Got any tips to help cheer me up?
The toxicity cut itself out from your life! Put your chin up and smile. Now you can make some more friends that are true.
