I have something about the uncle morty au, my thought/idea is that even though morty does not look favourably back at rick, he is way more like rick than he realizes. love the tradgedy of that, like maybe some morties even create a version of the citadel without really realizing. (metaphor for generational trauma?)

Sadly my plans for Uncle Morty and different, but if I was going to do something like that I think;
Morty would not stop and ‘unfavorably’ he would despise the time he spent with Rick. The trauma he’s been put through making him closed off and spiteful towards Rick. Id probably give Morty a daughter and use her to torture him in a way. Like give her mannerisms or features that remind him of Rick. Maybe he’d have run away with her into space in an attempt to be someone better than Rick while the rest of the family is desperate to find him. He tries his hardest to be anything but like rick and in the process he’s becoming more and more like his grandpa in subtle ways he hates the most.
I’d be the ultimate example of
“You can run from everyone else but you can’t run from yourself,”
…. Why do you do this to me?
